WE CURRENTLY HAVE A VACANCY FOR A CLASS TEACHER

(Initially a One Year Full Time Fixed Term Contract Commencing September 2019)

(Salary – Teacher’s Main Scale 1 to 6)

WE CURRENTLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING VACANCY COMMENCING SEPTEMBER 2019

 (Full Time Fixed Term Contract September 2019 to 31 August 2020)

(Teaching Assistant Level 3/4)

The Governors of our long established school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant.

This unique role will combine a traditional TA role, supporting in class each morning,  with work as a PE Specialist TA in the afternoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of national curriculum PE across the whole school (KS1 and KS2). They will also co-ordinate a range of extra-curricular activities at lunchtimes, playtimes and after school. The role includes taking the lead on competitive sporting activities including selecting and coaching teams and attending off-site competitions.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • is committed to upholding the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • has relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant / PE Specialist TA
  • Proven ability to inspire children, support colleagues and demonstrate organisational skills.
  • has high expectations of themselves and others with the drive and determination to work together with pupils, staff and parents to succeed.
